Honey Singh Divorce: In a significant turn of events, renowned rapper and singer Honey Singh, also known as Yo Yo Honey Singh, has officially divorced his wife Shalini after a long-standing legal battle.
The Delhi Family Court approved their separation, putting an end to a legal dispute that had been ongoing for two and a half years.
The case began in 2020, with Shalini accusing Honey Singh of domestic violence. The court finally decided in their divorce case.
Before granting the divorce, the court asked Honey Singh one last time if he wanted to make any efforts to reconcile with his wife, Honey Singh responded by stating that reconciliation was no longer possible, and Shalini also agreed to live separately.
The terms of their divorce settlement have been kept confidential. Honey Singh was represented by his legal team, which included his partner at Metalaw Offices Ishan Mukherjee, advocate Amrita Chatterjee, and Jaspal Singh, during the divorce proceedings.
Honey Singh and Shalini Talwar were in a long-term relationship before they entered into what was later revealed to be a secret marriage at a Gurudwara in Delhi in 2011.
Honey Singh had initially kept his marital status private, and it only came to light during a reality show.
