Actor-host Manish Paul is celebrating his 40th birthday today. During an exclusive conversation with the media, the actor shared some special memories related to his birthday. Manish was born on 3 August 1981 in Delhi. Manish Paul started his career in Delhi, as a host, compering cultural events in schools and colleges. Later he shifted to Mumbai, where his first break was hosting Sunday Tango on Star Plus in 2002. He also remained a VJ with Zee Music, and a radio jockey with Radio City's morning drive time show Kasakai Mumbai. Let us know what he said-
For the last two years, we are caught in the midst of the corona epidemic, still, this epidemic is not over. Last year I celebrated my birthday completely on house arrest, didn't get out at all. However, this year's celebration will be a little different from last year. This year my family is with me, one or two people will also come to congratulate me. Apart from this, I have requested everyone that no one should come home. We will party on FaceTime (laughs). Still, I think that we should pay attention to every protocol related to Corona. If we control for some more time, then we can avoid the next wave.
Personally, I love celebrating my birthday. It feels good when the whole family is together on this day and everyone makes me feel special. To be honest, my kids are more excited than me for this day. Every year they collect some of the other surprises for me. It's nice to see how much effort kids put into this little surprise (smiles)
I am in Mumbai for work, although every birthday celebrated in Delhi used to be very special. Even today when I miss those days a lot. Usually, now I am not with my parents on my birthday, so I miss them a lot on this special day. Cutting cakes with friends in Delhi, playing passing the game, these small things used to be very special. Even today, I get very emotional seeing old pictures of birthday celebrations celebrated with friends.
As a gift, I remember my mother gifted me a set of Hemen in my childhood. Trust me, that has been the most memorable gift I have ever received. When I came to Mumbai, the old Hemen set was lost. A few years ago, my mother and I were remembering the same old days in which this gift was mentioned. He again bought me a set of Hemen and sent me to Mumbai. I was very happy that day. I will never forget that moment. No matter how many expensive gifts someone gives now, that gift given by a mother will always be special.
Memorable Birthday Party with Karan Johar, Kirron Kher, and Madhuri Dixit. When I used to shoot 'India's Got Talent' and 'Jhalak Dikhla Jaa'. We had a lot of fun and frolic at that party. All the contestants of the show were also present, they all made me feel very special.
