Ray Liotta, an American actor, and producer who shot to prominence as the lead in Martin Scorsese's iconic gangster movie Goodfellas, has died at the age of 67. Jennifer Craig, his agent at Gersh, confirmed the news to The Hollywood Reporter.

Liotta died in his sleep while filming Dangerous Waters in the Dominican Republic

According to the report, Liotta died in his sleep while filming Dangerous Waters in the Dominican Republic. His daughter Karsen and girlfriend Jacy Nittolo survive him.

Other prominent films of his include The Rat Pack, Unforgettable, Cop Land, and Phoenix. He has also appeared in television programs such as ER, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, and Casablanca, among others.

His latest film credits include Alan Taylor's The Many Saints of Newark, the criminal thriller No Sudden Move, and the Apple TV+ series Black Bird.
