
Miss India 2023: Nandini Gupta, a resident of Kota in Rajasthan, won the prestigious title of Femina Miss India 2023 at the grand finale held on April 15th at the Indoor Stadium in Khuman Lampak, Imphal, Manipur.
This was the 59th edition of India's most prestigious beauty pageant, making it a significant event.
Nandini Gupta, a 19-year-old from Kota, Rajasthan, had aspired to become Miss India since the age of 10. Her bio on the official website states that she attended St. Paul's Senior Secondary School for her schooling and is currently pursuing business management at Lala Lajpat Rai College.
In an interview with the pageant, Nandini mentioned that Sir Ratan Tata is the most influential person in her life.
She admires his philanthropic work for humanity and his generous donations to charities. Despite being loved by millions, she says he remains grounded.
In addition to Sir Ratan Tata, Nandini Gupta also mentioned Priyanka Chopra as an inspiration for her Miss India journey.
According to Nandini, Priyanka, who won the Miss World title in 2000 at a young age, made India proud at the national and international levels.
Nandini also commended Priyanka's contribution to society and her success as an actress. She finds Priyanka inspiring, with a great sense of humour and a thirst for growth.
Nandini Gupta emerged victorious in the 59th edition of the beauty pageant, which featured spectacular performances by Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday. Manish Paul and Bhumi Pednaker played the role of hosts for the event.
