The first trailer for Mardaani 2, a stand-alone sequel of 2014's reality-based thriller, has been released. Featuring Rani Mukerji as a cop, the film appears to be a inspired by real events.
The trailer opens with details uncovering to the viewer that more than 2000 rapes are committed in India by boys under 18 years old consistently and that these are just the ones that are reported.
