FIR Filed against Farhan Akhtar after his Social Media Post on CAA

The Hindu Sangathan has filed a complaint against the film actor Farhan Akhtar for a tweet made over Citizen Amendment Act (CAA). It has alleged that his tweet may create fear among Dalits, Muslims and atheists and a complaint has been lodged against Farhan Akhtar at Hyderabad's Saidabad police station. Many Bollywood actors seen opposing the bill after the Parliament passed the Citizenship Amendment Act.

At the same time, many artists were seen standing in favor of this bill. Some came out in the open to raise their voices and also expressed their concerns towards the new act. Farhan Akhtar wrote in a tweet on his Twitter handle that he will join the protest against the CAA and NRC in Mumbai on December 19, although he was also in dispute over his tweet as he shared the wrong map of Kashmir in his tweet. After this, an IPS officer also demanded strict action against him. Now a complaint has been made against Farhan Akhtar by Hindu Sangathan. The complaint has been made about his tweet which can cause fear and anrchy among the people of the country.  Soon after, senior IPS officer Sandeep Mittal said that he had broken the law.

Now a complaint has been filed against Farhan. The complaint reads, 'Farhan's post is causing fear, anarchy and incitement. Due to this, Muslims, transgender, atheists, Dalits are being incited to war against the nation. It also promotes enmity between communities. '.
