The entertainment industry has stalled due to Corona virus. Shooting of films and TV shows has stopped. Circumstances like this exist around the world. Now, filmmaker Karan Johar has suspended all the administration and production work of Dharma production due to Corona virus.

Karan Johar shared a post on Instagram. In which he wrote – The Corana virus is spreading like an epidemic in the world including India. In view of this, Dharma Production has cancelled all administration and production work till further notice. This decision has been taken keeping in mind the safety of everyone.

On the other hand, all types of shoots have been cancelled from 19 to 31 March. This includes Bollywood, OTT, and TV sectors. Film bodies like IMPPA, FWICE, IFTDA, WIFPA, IFPTC have decided to discontinue shooting due to Corona. On the other hand, due to Corona, the date of the Padma Awards has also been pushed forward. The first Padma Awards were to be held on 26 March and 3 April.

In a conversation with Mumbai Mirror, trade analyst Komal Nahata has estimated a loss of about Rs 800 crore to the Hindi industry due to the corona virus. At the same time, according to Raj Bansal, Critic and Multiplex Owner, if all theaters in India are closed, then theaters owners will have a loss of about 40-50 crores in a week.
