Veteran actor Dilip Kumar has been admitted to the hospital once again. 98-year-old Dilip Kumar again started having difficulty in breathing on Tuesday, due to which he has been admitted to PD Hinduja Hospital in Mumbai. He is under the supervision of doctors in the ICU ward of the hospital. At the same time, his condition is said to be stable.

Dilip Kumar has been kept in the non-COVID-19 ICU ward

Hospital sources said that Dilip Kumar has been kept in a non-COVID-19 ICU ward. He had trouble breathing, after which he was brought back to the hospital. Given the difficulty in breathing and his age, the family has decided to hospitalize him as a precaution. He is fine now and is in ICU so that doctors can take good care of him. Dilip Kumar is accompanied by his wife and actress Saira Banu in the hospital.

Was admitted to the hospital on June 6 due to difficulty in breathing

This is the second time this month that Dilip Kumar has been admitted to the hospital due to breathing problems. Dilip Kumar was earlier admitted to the hospital on 6 June. Then he had bilateral pleural effusion. In this disease, water accumulates around the lungs inside the chest, which in medical language is called 'pleural effusion'. Due to repeated accumulation of water in the chest, due to pressure on the lungs, breathlessness starts. The doctors took out the water accumulated near his lungs through pleural aspiration. He was then discharged after staying in the hospital for five days.

Dilip Kumar's real name is Muhammed Yusuf Khan. He wrote 'Jwar Bhata' (1944), 'Andaz' (1949), 'Aan' (1952), 'Devdas' (1955), 'Azad' (1955), 'Mughal-e-Azam' (1960), 'Ganga He has acted in more than 50 Bollywood films including 'Jamuna' (1961), 'Kranti' (1981), 'Karma' (1986) and 'Saudagar' (1991). For the best performance, he received the Filmfare Award for Best Actor 8 times. He has also been honored with the Dadasaheb Phalke Award, the highest honor of Hindi cinema. In 2015, the government also gave him the Padma Bhushan, the country's second-highest honor.
