The film business in the South has received bad news. Dhanush, the celebrity actor from the South Indian film industry, and his wife Aishwarya have announced their separation on social media. Both of them have shared a memo in which they have written nearly identical things.
'18 years of togetherness as friends, couples, as parents and as well as well wishers to eachother', Dhanush wrote on twitter.
He further wrote, 'the journey has been of growth, understanding, adjusting and adapting. Today we stand at a place where our paths separate. Aishwarya and I have decided to part ways as a couple and take time to understand us as individuals for the better. Please respect our decision and give us the space we need to process it. Om Namashivaaya!' Dhanush has also included an emoji of joining hands with this statement.

With considerable excitement, Dhanush married superstar Rajinikanth's daughter Aishwarya Rajinikanth on November 18, 2004. Dhanush was only 23 years old when he married Aishwarya. They met for the first time on the set of a movie in 2003. Yatra and Linga are Dhanush and Aishwarya's two children.
In an interview, Dhanush described his first meeting with Aishwarya. It was the first show of my film Kadhal Konden. We went to see the movie with the whole family. We were hugging each other until the intermission because we knew that the movie was going to be a hit. After the movie, the cinema owner presented us to Aishwarya and Soundarya, Rajinikanth's daughters. We only exchanged greetings before departing. Aishwarya sent me a flower the next day and complimented me on my job. Maintain contact. That was something I took extremely seriously.
