The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), which faced backlash from the Allahabad High Court for not demonstrating awareness of Indian culture, religious tales, and mythological figures popular in the nation when releasing the film "Adipurush," is now exercising increased monitoring.

As a result, its members have been instructed to entirely delete the Shiv Tandav filmed for movie Bharateeyans. The movie's producer, Shankar Naidu, has expressed his views on the Censor Board's choice.

Directing Debue with Patriotic Movie

The director is making his directing debut with Dina Raj's patriotic movie, "Bharateeyans." 'Preminchukundam Raa' and 'Kalisundam Raa', two of his great love stories, are well recognised.

The movie “Bharateeyans," which exposed China's evil strategy, was well-received by retired Indian Army personnel at special screenings across India.

CBFC instructed 70 Edits: Producer

The producer of the movie 'Bharateeyans', Dr. Shankar Naidu Adusumilli, is an NRI from America who is also a well-known surgeon.

He rejects the censor board's concerns over the mention of China in his movie. The Censor Board instructed there to be 70 edits in the movie.

Additionally, according to Shankar Naidu, a song based on Shiva Tandav was also taken out of the movie by the censor board.

Despite our plea, the Censor Board removed Shiv Tandav, a song that represents Hinduism and the victory of Good over Evil.

Cast of 'Bharateeyans'

‘Bharateeyans‘ is written and directed by Deena Raj, and stars Nirroze Putcha, Subha Ranjan, Sonam Thendup Barphungpa, Samaira Sandhu, Peden O Namgyal, and Rajeswari Chakraborty in leading roles.

Produced under the banner of Bharat American Creations, the film is slated to release in Hindi and Telugu on July 14, 2023 in cinemas. UFO Moviez will be distributing the film.
