Actor Sonu Sood celebrated his birthday on 30 July. On this special occasion, Sonu Sood has been made the brand ambassador of the Special Olympic Movement. Not only this, but Sonu will also be a part of India's contingent at the Special Olympics World Winter Games to be held in Russia next year. According to reports, this has been announced recently by Sonu Sood during a virtual conversation with India's special athletes and officials. Sonu Sood had said, "Today is a very special day for me and I am delighted to be in this journey of being involved with Special Olympics India. I feel very fortunate to have joined the family. And there is a promise to make this platform even bigger."

Sonu Sood while interacting with the athletes answered their queries praising and appreciating their sporting achievements. The athletes also introduced him to 'Walk for Inclusion, an initiative of the Special Olympics Asia Pacific region. As India's brand ambassador for the Special Olympics, Sonu will lead a team of athletes from India in Kazan, Russia in January. Film to be made on Mirabai Chanu who won a silver medal in Tokyo Olympics

According to media reports, a Manipuri film will be made on the life of Mirabai. It is being told that in this regard, an agreement has been signed between Mirabai and Imphal's Seuti Films Productions on Saturday. The agreement was signed at Mirabai's residence in Nongpok Kakching village of Imphal East district. The film production company has given information about this project by issuing a press release. Producer Company's President Manaob MM has shared his experience regarding the film. The film will be dubbed in English and various Indian languages.
