Muralidhar, the notice of his transfer was issued by the Central Government on Wednesday night. The government notification states that under Article 222 of the Constitution, on the recommendation of the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, the President transfers Justice Muralidhar from the Judge of the Delhi High Court to the Judge of the Punjab and Haryana High Court. Justice Muralidhar will now take charge as a judge in the Punjab and Haryana High Court. Regarding Delhi violence, on Wednesday, Justice Muralidhar had said that we cannot allow year 1984 to happen once again in the country.
