Famous musician RD Burman's birth anniversary. He was born on June 27, 1939, in Kolkata. He was married to Asha Bhosle. The love story of these two is very interesting. RD and Asha Bhosle first met in 1956. In the first meeting, RD did not talk much to Asha, only took autographs. By then Asha had made her mark in the industry. While RD Burman was the teenage son of famous musician Sachin Dev Burman. About 10 years later, in 1966, RD Burman approached Asha Bhosle to sing for the film 'Teesri Manzil'. During the making of the song 'O Haseena Zulfon Wali…', the two became friends.

After the film 'Teesri Manzil', Asha started singing for Pancham Da. Asha's voice must have been in the film in which RD gave music. The two worked together in many hit films till the 70s. This was the time when the marriages of both RD and Asha were broken. Pancham Da had separated from his wife Rita Patel. At the same time, Asha had also left her husband Ganpat Rao Bhosle's house. Both were lonely and lonely and started coming closer to each other while working together.

RD Burman had said while proposing to Asha that you are the only one who can understand the tone. I am in love with your voice. Asha understood and said yes. Asha herself had told this during an interview. But there were many hurdles in their relationship. RD's mother was both against the relationship. So both of them had left their love on time.

Meanwhile, RD's father Sachin Dev Burman passed away and mother Meera became a psychopath. Her memory was gone. She stopped recognizing his son. Then a time came when Pancham felt that his mother's health would remain the same. And he married Asha in 1980.

Both were experts in cooking delicious food

Along with music, both had one thing in common. Both were fond of cooking. Both used to cook wonderfully. It is said about both that them used to feed their companions by preparing delicious food. At times, there was a condition between both of them that who can cook good food.

Period of failure

Pancham Da's music was not becoming a hit in the 80s. This made them very worried. After a long time, in the early 90s, he got a chance to give music in Vidhu Vinod Chopra's film '1942: A Love Story. All the songs of the film became a super hit, but Pancham Da was not alive to see this success. He died in 1994 at the age of just 54.
