Mumbai: Bollywood actress Bhumi Pednekar has won audience's heart with her acting skills in films like 'Dum Laga Ke Haisha', 'Toilet: Ek Prem Katha', 'Shubh Mangal Savdhan' and 'Sand Ki Aankh'. The actress believes that the way she presents women on screen is very important to her. About this, Bhumi said, "The way women present themselves on the screen, it is very important for me. Cinema has the power to influence people and I think that through the portrayal of women, we can forward the message of freedom and equality".
She added that she seeks out such roles and plays them wholeheartedly. The actress further added, "I have had the privilege to play these characters who have made an identity".
Bhumi will soon be seen in 'Durgavati' and 'Dolly Kitty or Woh Chamakte Sitaare'.
