Bodyguard maker Jed Mercurio on Monday said he is in chats with the BBC for a second season. 

The British TV arrangement featuring Richard Madden disclosed on BBC in the UK and on Netflix all inclusive. 

"We're in talks. We're going through the logistics of it. There's no real update now,"  Mercurio told a keynote session at the Banff World Media Festival. 

As indicated by The Hollywood Reporter, he additionally affirmed that BBC has not formally greenlit the second period of the show. 

Mercurio said he was astounded that the principal period of Bodyguard was among the BBC's greatest TV shows of 2018. 

"I know there's an adage that your failure should be surprising. But the level of success was surprising," he added.

Guardian spins around war veteran David Budd played by Madden, who joins London's Metropolitan Police Service and is appointed with the obligation of ensuring questionable government official home secretary Right Honorable Julia Montague MP, played by Keeley Hawes.
