I didn't like what I saw at all. Large arms, legs, and an enlarged belly. I let go of a lot. If it was due to some disease then it would not matter to me because then it would have been out of my control. But all this was because I used to eat everything and did not work out at all. Our body deserves to be treated well but I didn't respect it at all.

Wasn't happy with what I looked like: Avika

The actress further said, 'I did not like the way I looked. I love to dance very much but I couldn't even do that thinking about how I would look. I was so busy judging myself and feeling bad about myself that I never gave up hope for outsiders to think badly of me. These kinds of security were always on my mind and it made me feel very irritating.

On starting her weight loss journey, Avika says, "One day I decided that enough is enough and now I have to change. Nothing changes overnight. I just started focusing on the right things. Things I'm proud of, like dancing. I always thought of eating well and working out. During this, I also faced many problems, but it was necessary that I did not stop. My people were always with me to guide me.

We have a lot to do and we should do those things carefully and not feel bad thinking that we cannot do it. We must do what is in our control. Now I am comfortable in my skin. This has given me peace.
