Ashutosh Kaushik, who won 'MTV Roadies 5' and 'Bigg Boss 2', rose to the heights of his career as quickly as he came down. He stayed away from the limelight for a long time. For him too, it was no less than a dream that he won such big reality shows one after the other. After winning the show, he became an overnight star, although then he went into the life of oblivion.
Ashutosh Kaushik believes that his journey was very good and got a lot of love from the people. Ashutosh said, 'I was on heights when I won Roadies. I have given many roadies auditions and then faced rejections. Then a time came when I was selected. My mother always taught me that try and I did. The Roadies experience was fun, difficult, and memorable'.
After winning the show, I returned to my home in Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh. A year later I got a call from Bigg Boss and I was a part of the reality show in 2008. Later, won it too and then returned home. The journey was good. The people of the country gave me a lot of love.
It is said that the price of freedom is known to those who have seen slavery. If I had struggled in life, especially in the entertainment industry, I would have understood what I have got and how to pursue it to make a career. I could not capitalize on the success. I knew how to run a dhaba and how to make it a success.
Ashutosh further says, 'I think I was not ready for this. I kept winning reality shows because of luck and by the grace of God. I didn't really work for it'.
Ashutosh is currently leading a happy life. In 2020, he got married on the terrace of the house in lockdown. He is currently running two dhabas in his hometown and a clothing showroom in Uttarakhand. Ashutosh says, "There is no problem with daily needs. We feed people at our dhaba. I do shows from time to time for the news channel of Noida. If I get a call from Mumbai for a project, I go for a shoot and come back.
