Aryan Khan, lodged in Arthur Road Jail, will be released today. Aryan will be released after the paperwork in the morning. Bollywood actress Juhi Chawla has become Aryan's surety. In fact, Aryan Khan had to spend one more night in Mumbai's Arthur Road Jail even after getting bail as the jail authorities did not receive the papers of Khan's release within the stipulated time frame.
The authorities of Jail opened the bail box outside Arthur Road Jail at around 5.30 am today to collect bail orders. A physical copy of the bail order of Aryan khan was also kept inside yesterday. Aryan was granted bail by the High Court on Thursday, 25 days after he was arrested in connection with a drug discovery case on a cruise ship.
The High Court has imposed 14 conditions for Aryan Khan's bail, including payment of a personal bond of Rs 1 lakh and weekly attendance at the NCB office and submission of his passport in a special NDPS court. The high court, in a five-page order, said that Aryan Khan and two co-accused Arbaaz Merchant and Munmun Dhamecha would be released on furnishing a personal bond of Rs one lakh each and one or two sureties of like amount.
When actress Juhi Chawla stood before the judge, Manshinde told the court that the actress had known the Aryan Khan since childhood and that she and Aryan Khan's father Shah Rukh Khan were professionally involved. During this, a crowd gathered to click pictures with Juhi Chawla. However, Chawla signed the papers after which she was sent back to the court where the judge signed the bail bond and issued the release memo. Talking to the media, Juhi said, 'There is peace in the family now. We are all happy.'
