Aryan Khan did not get Relief in Cruise Drug Case, Bail Plea Rejected by Court

Actor Shahrukh Khan's son Aryan Khan has not been able to get bail from the court. Aryan was in judicial custody in the Cruise Drug Case. He is lodged in Arthur Road Jail in Mumbai and will have to remain in jail for the time being. The Special NDPS Court of Mumbai has also rejected the bail applications of Arbaaz Merchant and Munmun Dhamecha apart from Aryan Khan. After the decision of the court, now they have a way to approach the High Court. Because his bail application could not be decided in the previous hearings. Earlier, the special court of NDPS had reserved its decision on the bail application after a hearing on October 14 last. After this, the court was closed due to the Dussehra holidays.

NCB has been opposing Aryan's bail application

NCB has been opposing Aryan Khan's bail application in the Cruise Drug Case. NCB says that Aryan Khan's WhatsApp chat exposes his involvement in the drug racket. While Aryan Khan's lawyer Satish Manshinde argued that the drug has not been recovered from his client nor is he involved in selling and buying drugs, he is entitled to bail.

Aryan has links with members of an international drug syndicate

Earlier, opposing Aryan's bail application, the NCB claimed that he is a regular consumer of drugs. Additional Solicitor General (ASG) Anil Singh, appearing for the NCB, claimed that there is evidence that shows that Aryan Khan was a regular consumer of narcotics for the past few years. Along with this, he reiterated the charge of his involvement in the conspiracy, quoting Khan's WhatsApp chat. NCB claims that Aryan has links with members of an international drug syndicate.
