In a meeting with Entertainment Weekly, Maisie uncovered that while the accomplishment was very exciting, but she was sure that no one would love it.

She further commented on the same by saying, " I almost knew that people would hate the scene and say that she doesn't deserve to kill the night king. As per her, the toughest part is to frame a picture of an invincible villain and then he gets killed by being stab."
After she discussed it with her boyfriend, he along with most the people thought that Jon would be the one to kill the night king.
