After making the audience insane with the character posters and trailer of Panipat, the creators have released another poster that shows an epic fight between Sadashiv Rao Bhau depicted by Arjun Kapoor and Ahmad Shah Abdali depicted by Sanjay Dutt. In the poster shared by Arjun Kapoor on Instagram, we can see Arjun Kapoor looks incredible and is all set for the fight though Sanjay Dutt looks threatening all set to defeat Sadashiv. Sharing the new poster Arjun expressed, "Sadashiv Rao Bhau vs Ahmad Shah Abdali. Witness the epic battle on 6th December, #Panipat."
When the trailer of Panipat was out, a comparison between Arjun Kapoor's role of Sadashiv Bhau and Ranveer Singh's role of Bajirao from Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Bajirao Mastani was made. To this, director Ashutosh Gowariker said the story of Panipat is not quite the same as Bajirao Mastani and Padmaavat.
Moreover, Ashutosh explained that the movies are set in a similar timespan as Bajirao Mastani, because of which ensembles and areas may appear to be comparative. He further said that he can absolutely comprehend the similarity and correlations in light of the fact that the last film that turns out, remains in everybody's memory.
Directed by Ashutosh Gowarikar, Panipat is a chronicled period show that goes back to the Third Battle of Panipat battled between the Maratha Empire and the King of Afghanistan, Ahmad Shah Abdali in 1761.
