The All India Cine Workers Association has requested a total restriction on Pakistani artist, movies, ambassadors and reciprocal relations. This move comes after Pakistan prohibited every single Indian movie as an immediate reaction to the Indian government's choice to scrap the extraordinary status of Jammu and Kashmir.

As indicated by their Announcement, AICWA requested that India state a "severe no" to Pakistan for exchanges and two-sided relations. "In relation to Pakistani government banning Indian movies in Pakistan AICWA urges all the film industries to put a complete stop to any association with Pakistani artists, musicians, and diplomats", the statement read. "AICWA demands a Complete No on Pakistani Artists, Diplomats & Bilateral Relations with Pakistan and its people".

The association additionally referenced that the whole film industry and cine laborers have wouldn't resume work till there is a sweeping boycott of Pakistani motion picture producers, specialists and exchange accomplices.

"AICWA learns that after scrapping Article 370 and 35A, Pakistan has become vulnerable in feeding their perpetrators who were directly involved in provoking Kashmiris to create a non-cooperative movement against Indian government and policies," they further included.
