Newlywed couples Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor have announced that they are expecting their first child. Alia took to social media and shared a pic from the hospital where Ranbir is sitting aside her and both are looking towards the blurred T.V screen with a heart emoticon attached to it.
In just a few minutes of announcing, the social media filled with joy, and their fans congratulated the couple. Her comment section was filled with love comments and numerous friends from the industry congratulated them.
Her mother Soni Razdan shared a photo on Instagram and wrote, “Our cup runneth over.”
Their mutual friend and Dharma Productions owner Karan Johar also congratulated them and wrote, “So much love for them! My baby is going to be a mother! So excited..love you guys.”
The couple got married in April this year after dating for nearly four years. They met on the sets of Brahmastra and fell in love with each other. They tied the knot in a private wedding at Ranbir’s home in Mumbai.
Ranbir recently talked about his wedding life and said, “Shaadi is Daal Chawal for Pachaas Saal Till you Die. Arey Life Mein Thoda Bahut Keema Pav, Tangdi Kabab Bhi to Hona Chayiye Na(he said referring to his dialogue in the film Yeh Jawani hai Deewani).”
He further added, “But boss, Mere life experiences ke Baad Main keh Sakta hu ki Dal Chawal is best. Alia is best for me. Ab, Meri life mein Dal with Tadka, Pyaaz aur Achaar sab hai, Main isse Jyada expect nhi kar sakta.”
Talking on the workfront, the duo will be seen together in the film Brahmastra, which is all set to release in theatres in September this year. Besides that, Ranbir has Shamshera too on the cards while Alia too will be seen in various upcoming projects.
