Congress President Raj Babbar has said that his party can Single-handedly contest the ruling BJP in the by-elections for the 12 assembly seats in the state as other opposition parties are scared. On Sunday, Babbar said in a conversation with 'Bhasha' that honestly, if a party can fight the BJP in a by-election, then it is only the Congress. The rest of the parties are nervous. The Congress is struggling with all seriousness and people connected to the land are now gradually getting attracted towards the Congress.
The state Congress president has given this statement in view of the by-elections for Hamirpur and 11 other assembly seats in the state. By-elections in Hamirpur will be held on September 23, while the remaining 11 seats will be held on October 21. He said that the Congress will make a point in the by-elections of the false promises of the Center and the BJP government of Uttar Pradesh, poor law and order in the state, feelings of insecurity in women and crimes against children. People are not 'crazy', they are also watching everything.
Referring to party general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, the state Congress president said that if BJP is afraid of any leader, then it is Priyanka because the BJP is unable to answer any question raised by Priyanka. The most important thing is that people are attaching themselves to the issues raised by Priyanka.
