Former AIADMK MP KC Palanisamy was arrested early Saturday for misusing the party symbol. The police gave information about it.
He said Palanisamy was arrested after a complaint from his house in RS Puram. The complaint against him stated that he was operating a website in the name of AIADMK and misusing the party symbol.
Former MP Palanisamy was expelled from AIADMK in 2018. He had urged the Center to support the no-confidence motion against the Modi government for not taking a favorable view on the Cauvery issue. Police said they are investigating the matter further.
