The Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) has decided to open schools and gyms in the capital. Now coaching institutes will also open in Delhi. DDMA has taken this decision because of the decreasing cases of corona infection. DDMA has also reduced the timing of the night curfew. Now it will apply from 11 pm to 5 am. Because of the decreasing cases of infection, there was a demand to reopen gyms and schools.

Schools and gyms will open from February 7 for students of classes 9th to 12th. Masks will not be needed when travelling alone in the car. Only teachers who have taken both doses of Corona will be able to go to school. All offices in Delhi will now open with 100 percent capacity.

On January 13, Delhi records 28,867 cases of corona infection and on January 14, the positivity rate had increased to 30.6%. However, since then there has been a steady decline in the cases of infection. Earlier, the Delhi government decided to lift the weekend curfew and open shops regularly. The capital's gym, spa operators demanded permission to start their services.

Permission to open restaurants with half capacity

In its last meeting, the DDM ordered bars and restaurants to open with 50 percent capacity. Cinema halls in the capital have also been ordered to open with half the capacity.

Decrease of more than 60 percent in the cases of Coronavirus

In the national capital, there has been a decrease of more than 60 percent in the cases of coronavirus under treatment in the last week. For the past several days, there has been a reduction in the number of daily cases, infection rate and many other conditions, but there has not been a significant decrease in the number of dead for the last few weeks.
