Jammu and Kashmir Service Selection Board (JKSSB) has issued notifications for recruitment to the post of Account Assistant (Panchayat). This notification has been issued for the recruitment of 1889 vacant posts in the Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Department under the provisions of SO of Jammu and Kashmir. The applications are invited through online mode only. Online applications will be accepted from July 20, 2020. Eligible and interested candidates can apply on or before 31 August 2020 by visiting the official website www.jkssb.nic.in/

Account Assistant (Panchayat) – 1885 posts.
Candidates must have a post-graduation degree or Ph.D. degree or equivalent qualification with minimum 50% marks for Open Merit in any stream from any recognized university and 45% marks for the reserved category.
As per the notification issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, the candidate should be a resident of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.

The basis of selection will be on the marks obtained in the written examination.
There will be objective type, multiple-choice questions in the exam. There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
