PM Modi to Meet Children Honored with Prime Minister’s National Children’s Award on Friday

A medal, certificate and cash is given as honor. General award is also given under this award. Under this, an amount of 20-20 thousand rupees is provided to each.

PM Narendra Modi will meet the children honored with the Prime Minister's National Children's Award on Friday. 22 selected brave children were honored by the Indian Council for Child Welfare (ICCW). Of these, 10 are girls while 12 are boys. One boy was given the award posthumously. President Ram Nath Kovind on Wednesday honored the Prime Minister's National Children's Award 2020 (National Bravery Award) at Rashtrapati Bhavan.

The Indian Child Welfare Council (ICCW) on Tuesday announced the names of 10 girls and 12 boys for the honor. Every year on the first day of Republic Day, 26 January, brave children are honored. It was started by the Child Welfare Council of India in the year 1957.
