A notice has been issued by the Navy for this recruitment in which applications have been sought for the post of sailor for the August 2020 batch. This recruitment is being done on 2700 posts, which includes the posts of Senior Secondary Recruitment and Artificial Apprentice. Salary
The candidates who will be selected on these posts will be given Rs 14,600 per month as stipend during the initial training period. After finishing training, the candidates will join Level 3 (Rs 21,700-69,100) of the Defense Pay Matrix. Apart from this, they will be given Rs 5200 per month MSP and DA (if applied) + Group Pay (for Artist Apprentice only) Rs 6200 / – + DA.
Educational Qualification
Senior Secondary Recruit- SSR: – 12th pass with 60% marks in Chemistry / Biology / Computer Science from a recognized board is required.
Artificer Apprentice – 12th pass with 60% marks in Mathematics and Physics from a recognized board and one of the subjects of Chemistry / Biology / Computer Science is also necessary.
Selection Process
Candidates for these posts will be selected on the basis of Computer Based Examination, Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and Medical Examination.
