Indian Air Force Recruitment: Indian Air Force has sought applications for the post of Airman in Group X Trades and Group Y Trades. Online applications are to be made for these posts and the application process has started. The application process will run till 20 January. The examination for these posts will be conducted between March 19 and March 23.
Educational Qualifications
Speaking of merit, for Group X, the candidate should have secured 50 percent marks in Mathematics, Physics, English subjects in 12th standard. Also, English should also have 50 percent marks. Candidates having Diploma Course in Engineering can also apply. Talking about eligibility for Group Y, there should be 50 percent marks in 12th standard. Also, English should have 50 percent marks.
Age Range
Candidates who have been born from 17 January 2000 to 30 December 2003 can apply for these posts.

Talking about the application fee, the candidate will have to pay a fee of Rs 250 for online registration.

Exam format
Online examination will be conducted for the candidates. Objective questions will be asked in the exam. The exam is conducted in both Hindi and English languages. There will be questions related to English, Physics and Mathematics for Group X trade. For which 1 hour time will be given.
Questions related to English, General Awareness and Reasoning will be asked for Group Y Trade. For this, 45 minutes will be given. The duration of the examination for both the group exams will be 85 minutes and it will have questions related to English, Physics, Mathematics, English, General Awareness and Reasoning. Negative marking of 1 mark will be done for each correct question and 0.25 for the wrong answer.
After this online test, the physical test and adaptability test will be conducted for the candidate. Note that these posts do not include Education Instructor Trade, Auto Tech, IAF (P), IAF (S), Musician Trade. Also, this recruitment is not for officer, pilot and navigator posts.
