The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will release the results of 12th board examinations today at 2 pm. The Supreme Court had given the deadline till July 31 to release this result. Students can check their results through the official website cbseresults.nic.in.
According to the criteria given by the board, this year the 12th result has been decided on the formula 30:30:40. According to the marking scheme, the 3 subjects out of 5 in class 10th and 11th in which the students have scored the highest will be selected for preparing the result. At the same time, it will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the unit, term and practical examination of class 12th.
The panel formed by CBSE has fixed the formula of 30:30:40 for the evaluation of class 12 students. Under this, 30% weightage will be given to the final result of 10th-11th and 40% weightage will be given to the pre-board exam of 12th. On June 4, CBSE had formed a 13-member committee to decide the marking scheme of class 12 students.
Before the result the board has launched the Roll Number Finder. This link has been activated on the official website of the board, cbse.gov.in. Candidates can check their roll number on it. 10th class students will have to enter their parents' name and their date of birth to know their roll number.
This year also students will be given digital marksheets through DigiLocker. To download the mark sheet from Digilocker, it has to be downloaded from digilocker.gov.in. The DigiLocker credentials have been sent by the board to the students through SMS. Using this they can download their mark sheet, passing certificate and migration certificate. DigiLocker mobile app can be downloaded from Google Play or Apple Store.
