ED is Going to Delhi High Court to Cancel Robert Vadra Bail

Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Friday moved the Delhi High Court to cancel the advance bail of Robert Vadra in a case of money laundridge. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's brother-in-law Vadra was granted bail by a lower court in Delhi on April 1. The ED has filed this petition through its lawyer DP Singh, which states that Vadra can be harmed for the purpose of the relief investigation given by the arrest.

Apart from Vadra, the agency has also challenged the advance bail granted to his close friend Manoj Arora. Vadra is facing the allegations of Money Laundridge in connection with the purchase of property in Brianston Square, a London-based 12-million-pound London property.

Just three months before the Lok Sabha elections, Priyanka Gandhi, who entered active politics as a Congress General Secretary, proved to be unsuccessful in wooing voters in Uttar Pradesh. Priyanka Gandhi was made in-charge of Eastern Uttar Pradesh with Jyotiraditya Scindia, in-charge of Western Uttar Pradesh. With the Bharatiya Janata Party-led NDA and the SP-BSP combine in the triangular fight, bringing back the lost prestige of the party in the state was not less than a challenge for Priyanka.

When Priyanka Gandhi was made general secretary, some leaders called it the masterstroke of Congress. But many leaders had told it to be a hasty decision taken by Congress. During the campaigning, Priyanka Gandhi organized a total of 38 rallies, out of which 26 were from UP. He campaigned for Congress candidates in Madhya Pradesh, Delhi, Jharkhand, and Haryana too. But in the constituencies where Priyanka sought votes for the Congress, 97 percent of the seats had to face the defeat of the Congress.
