But there is one fruit from which you can avoid the problem of bad cholesterol with daily intake and that fruit is avocado. Yes, according to a study by researchers at New Penn State University, avocado not only reduces bad cholesterol but also reduces oxidized LDL. The results of this study were published in the journal Journal of Nutrition.

Special study done on 45 obese people-

The study selected 45 participants who were either overweight or obese. At the beginning of the study, all the participants had to follow a run-in diet for 2 weeks so that all the participants could reach the same nutritional level. In the next phase of the study, participants had to complete a diet plan for 5 weeks. Each participant was to follow any of the 1 diets. First- Low Fat Diet, Second- Moderate Fat Diet and Third Moderate Fat Diet which included eating 1 avcado every day.

Helps in reducing oxidized LDL-

The results of the study showed that the participants in the diet that included avocado had significantly lower levels of oxidized LDL cholesterol than other participants and achieved a higher level of antioxidants called lutein. After this investigation, researchers have concluded that regular intake of avocado helps to reduce not only LDL but also oxidized LDL in obese and overweight people.
