Fitbit Versa 2 Review: Good Option for Android Users

The demand for smartwatches is increasing rapidly in the market. Many companies are taking their fitness trackers to the smartwatch market. Although Apple Watch Series is available for ios users, but Android users have many options, but lack the best options. We are going to give a review about one such option here and that is the Versa of Fitbit, the world's most trusted brand of wearables. Let us know if it is worth investing in this smartwatch?

Build Quality and Design:
The dial of the Fitbit Versa 2 is square shaped and has a soft rubber strap. For small hands and big hands, here comes with a two size strap box, which you can attach to the dial very easily. It is very light in weight and there are no rough edges anywhere. It can be easily worn throughout the day, as well as there is no problem in wearing it even while sleeping. Its display is 1.34-inch and the display is AMOLED rather than LCD as before. In such a situation, its black pixels are also very good. This display is quite vibrant, punchy and bright. It has a button on the left side, which is used to wake the screen and come back from the menu. Also, Alexa can be turned on by holding it. The special thing about this smartwatch is that it also has the support of microphone, so in this, voice reply and Alexa communication can be done.

It has been launched with Always On Display, so there is no need to press the button repeatedly to check the time. The display has uniform bezels all around. Although the width of these bezels could be reduced. This would give users a slightly larger screen. Apart from this, let us tell you that users have a lot of options for strap colors. Also, let us tell you that 50M comes with water resistant, in this case it can also be used for swimming. Gorilla Glass Protection has been given in its display. Overall it is quite luxurious and this look is also very premium.

Performance:
The Fitbit Versa 2 is a smartwatch along with being a fitness tracker. In such a situation, it has many functions and some new apps can be found by downloading. For example, the calculator does not come in-built, but you can install it separately. It is very smooth to operate. As far as features are concerned, through this watch you can track heart rate, exercise, sleep, diet and women menstrual cycle. Similarly, it is also easy to connect. Users can check incoming calls, messages and app notifications in it. The call can be received or disconnected from the watch itself and the app can read the notification as well as voice reply with the help of microphone. NFC is also present in it, from which quick payment can also be made.

With this, some sports can also be tracked along with exercise. Proper data of exercise can be tracked from the app and goals can also be set. As far as sleep tracker is concerned, it also has a smart alarm called SmartWake, which after a good sleep wakes you up on its own in the morning. It works on machine learning. In such a situation, you can avoid the sound of alarm. The good thing is that its vibration motor is also much better. Women can track systems, log moods and even cycle cycles with the help of a menstrual tracker. It also predicts the start of the next cycle.

If we talk about some more features, features like timer, weather, reminder, agenda and music control can also be taken advantage of. There are also a lot of options for the clock face, which can be accessed through the app. Talking about battery life, the company has claimed a battery of 4 days here, which is true to some extent. But with Always On Display, battery performance is affected. We have run it for three and a half days with Always On Display. It takes about an hour to be fully charged. Keep in mind that its charger is very unique, so take it with you.

If we mention some negative things, as we said above, the bezels area in the display could be reduced. Similarly, the music feature does not directly control the smartphone's current player here. Apart from this, you do not get any Indian media support for news and Hindi is not supported in the app notifications. Also, some in-built clock faces could also be given here. Apart from this, let me tell you that sometimes after charging or after the phone is turned on, it does not auto connect even after Bluetooth is on.

Decision:
Barring some of the shortcomings mentioned above, this is a fairly good smartwatch. Especially fitness trackers may like it. The good thing is that if you like to talk to Alexa, then there is in-built support of this voice assistant. While Android users can see this as a better option, Apple users may like it as a cheaper option of the Apple series.

Rating: 7.5/10
