The spyware Pegasus has also revealed a case of spying on Latifa, daughter of the Sultan of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al-Maktoum, and former wife Haya bint Al Hussein. According to the report of 'The Guardian', the phone numbers of Latifa, Haya and their associates are included in the list of 50,000 phone numbers in the world that are accused of spying through Pegasus spyware. Now it is also suspected that the Sultan of Dubai may have got them spying. The report said that Princess Latifa along with three or four companions had escaped from Dubai in a big yacht.

Pegasus used to Reveal Location

She was captured by the Indian Coast Guard in the Indian Ocean. During interrogation, it was revealed that these people wanted to go to Goa to seek help, fearing that the boat was running out of fuel. The numbers of Latifa, her associates and the people who have been in contact with her were in the central database of the Pegasus project. These people were in touch with each other through email or WhatsApp chat. On the basis of this, these people were found to be near the Indian maritime border.

Contact with Government of India for Latifa's return

The report also said that the Dubai administration had approached the Indian government for Latifa's return. After that the Indian Coast Guard raided Latifa's yacht. Later Latifa and her associates were sent back to Dubai.

Princess Latifa made allegations of harassment by releasing the video

In February this year, a video of Princess Latifa surfaced. In this, she claimed to have taken herself hostage. Latifa said that she was kept in a prison-like villa. Then the royal family said that Latifa is being taken care of at home. Haya had accused the husband of hostage, harassment and intimidation. Haya moved to the UK in April 2019 with two children.
