DK Shivakumar’s Bail Plea to be Heard on Thursday

The bail plea of ​​former Karnataka minister and senior Congress leader DK Shivakumar, accused in the money laundering case, will be heard on Thursday. The hearing was held on Wednesday in the special court of Rouse Avenue, Delhi. After this, the hearing of the case was deferred till Thursday.

Earlier, DK Shivakumar was produced in court on Tuesday after his remand ended. The ED  in the special court at Rouse Avenue in Delhi said that Shivakumar's health was not good. In this case, the inquiry could not be completed. Therefore, he should be sent to judicial custody and permission to be interrogated there as well.

On the other hand, the lawyers of DK Shivakumar said in the court that health is not good and heart attack can happen anytime. In such a situation, Shivakumar should be given bail. However, the court, while deciding on the bail application for Wednesday, ordered Shivakumar to be sent to judicial custody.

The special court said that Shivakumar should be taken to the hospital before jail and if doctors give advice, then send him to jail. If the doctors are admitted in the hospital, then the Tihar Jail Superintendent should deploy security personnel in the hospital and take them into custody. Take him to jail only after being discharged from the hospital. In case of not admitted, let the doctor take medicines given in jail.
