This time in Rajasthan, the seasonal disease dengue is being seen. The number of dengue positive patients in the state has exceeded to 6700. At the same time, eight deaths have also reported. However, this is a government figure and does not include the number of people being treated in private hospitals or private doctors. Experts say that if those patients are included, then this figure can be more than twice.
This time the rains have been delayed in Rajasthan. Due to this there was some relief from malaria, chikungunya or swine flu, but dengue has hit the state. Patients from this disease are seen in every district of the state and long lines of patients are seen in hospitals.
Officials of the Department of Medical and Health say that dengue cases are reported every year in the month of October. This time, the situation is fine due to the absence of hemorrhagic dengue fever like last year. For this widespread effect of dengue, timely fogging by urban bodies is also considered as a big reason. Medical Minister Radhu Sharma has been regularly meeting with the officials and directed to take preventive measures on seasonal diseases. Meanwhile, the Jaipur district administration has also issued an advisory for schools. In this, schools have been told that if the school uniform does not have full pants, then it should be made full, because the mosquito of dengue bites under the knees.
