The 39th India International Trade Fair at Pragati Maidan will start from Thursday ie tomorrow. The trade fair will take place from 14 to 27 November. From 14 to 18 it will be open only to businessmen. It will be opened to the general public from 19 November. This time the entry has been kept from only three gates. The traffic police expects 20 to 25 thousand people a day. This is likely to cause traffic jams, so those traveling for routine work have been advised to opt for other alternative routes instead of Mathura Road, Bhairo Road, Ring Road, Sher Shah Road and Purana Qila Road.

This time the trade fair will be held from 14 to 27 November. The timing of the fair is kept from 9.30 to 5.30. Ease of Doing Business is the theme of this time. Currently, tickets for businessmen (from 14 to 18) are available online. It costs Rs 500.

According to Delhi Traffic Police, no one will be allowed to go to the trade fair after 5 pm this year. Public key entry will be only from gate numbers 1, 10 and 11. This year, gate numbers two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight and nine will not enter.

How to reach trade fair?

Visitors coming from the metro can descend on the Pragati Maidan and Mandi House metro station to walk. People coming by bus from Delhi-NCR can get off at Mathura Road and Bhairo Road bus stand.

People coming from their car can use the parking lot behind the Bhairo Temple, Zoo, Jabta Masjid on Man Singh Road, Raksha Bhavan, behind Vigyan Bhawan, Indira Gandhi Arts Center. They will have to pay for the parking of Bhairo Temple and Zoo.

The service lanes in front of Gate No-1, 10 and 11 will also be completely closed for trains for the safety of the people. No vehicle will be allowed to park on Mathura Road and Bhairo Singh Road and wait. Parking will also not be available on Sher Shah Road, Purana Qila Road and Bhagwan Das Road. Similarly, no train will be allowed to take a U-turn from the W point on the Mathura road to the Subramanian Bharati Marg 'T' point. There will also be a ban on taking the right and left turn from Mathura Road to Purana Qila Road. Police has appealed people to come to the trade fair by metro or bus. There is an appeal to pool the car. The facility of prepaid auto will also be available at gate number-1.

Tickets will not be available at Pragati Maidan station

This time, tickets will be available online and in select metro stations of Delhi-NCR. There will be no ticket window at Pragati Maidan Metro Station. Similarly, tickets will not be sold at the trade fair.
