Delhi Police on Tuesday filed an FIR in connection with the violent protest on the streets of Delhi by the students of JNU on Monday to protest the fee hike. A case has been registered against unknown people at Kishangarh police station.

Delhi Police has registered an FIR on Monday's demonstration by JNU students. Despite being Section 144 on Monday, hundreds of students took to the streets. During this time, the police had lathicharge, in which many students were also injured. This case has been registered in Kishangarh police station for violating the law.

The JNU Students' Union will hold a press conference on Tuesday regarding the students injured during the protest. During this time, their demands will be talked about and students injured in the demonstration will be told. JNU's academic functioning remained closed on Tuesday due to the students' performance. Apart from this, the performance of the administration block is also being affected.

On Tuesday, the people of JNU Students Union, JNU Administration and Hostel President can once again meet the three member committee formed by the Union Ministry of Human Resources and put their demand. On Monday evening also, the students met officials of the Union Human Resource Ministry. However, JNU students did not appear satisfied with the assurance.

Several students were injured on Monday during protests over several issues, including hostel fees raised by the Jawaharlal Nehru University administration. It is being told that during the Parliament march, Delhi Police had lathi-charged near Safjarjung mausoleum, in which several students were injured. They have been admitted to different hospitals.
