Indian Railway Board Chairman Vinod Kumar Yadav has said that the trial of the Delhi-Katra Vande Bharat train has been completed. The train will be a gift for pilgrims and will run from Navratri. This train will run between New Delhi to Katra and from Katra to New Delhi 5 days a week. He said that the busy routes of the country are being upgraded. The Delhi-Mumbai and Delhi-Howrah routes will be run by December 2021.

Travel time will decrease

Due to this high-speed train, there will be a journey time between Delhi and Katra. Earlier it used to take 12 hours to visit the Vaishno Devi temple, but due to this train, it would take only 8 hours. The first Vande Bharat Express train or Train-18 was launched on the Delhi-Varanasi route.

40 Vande Bharat trains to run in the country

He said that 40 Vande Bharat trains will be run in the country by 2022. Work is being done as per the new specific instructions. There will be complete transparency in this work. This work will be a part of the Make in India project.

Vande Bharat train will run on the second route

He said that the second Vande Bharat Express, the busy traffic will run on the Delhi-Katra route. This train will run before the festive season. The Railway Board had chosen the Delhi-Katra route to redeem the busiest route due to the pilgrimage to the Vaishno Devi Temple.

The average speed of the train will be 82 km / h

Vande India will have a maximum speed of 130 km, while the average speed will be 82 km per hour. This train will run at a speed of 120-130 between Delhi and Ludhiana. While its speed will be 75-80 km from Ludhiana to Katra. In this way, its entire journey of Delhi-Katra will be completed at an average speed of 82 kilometers per hour.

The train will have a total of 1128 seats

The second Vande Bharat Express will have 16 coaches. It has a total of 1128 seats for seating. It will have 14 coaches of a normal chair car, with 936 seats. While the two executive chair cars will have 104 seats. The fare of a chair car from New Delhi to Katra will be around 1600 rupees. While the fare of executive chair car has been kept around Rs 3000.
