The situation in Max Patparganj alone is such that all the beds are full here. Not a single bed was empty here on Wednesday afternoon. Similarly, other hospitals of Fortis, Apollo, and Max also have more dengue patients. Apart from this, there is a lot of struggle for beds in AIIMS, Safdarjung, Lok Nayak, and GTB Hospital.

Appeal to PM

AIIMS doctor Vijay Gurjar has appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on social media, saying that his friend has visited all the hospitals in Delhi but his mother has not been admitted anywhere. He also reached the emergency department of AIIMS, but beds were not found here, so there should be more beds in hospitals.

There is also a great demand for platelets and blood

Apart from filling beds in hospitals, there is also a significant increase in the demand for platelets and blood for dengue. Somewhere, platelets are being sold for 10 and somewhere 15 thousand rupees.

According to Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia (RML) Hospital, New Delhi, the demand for platelets has increased significantly, but the hospital said it is difficult to meet the demand of every patient. At the same time, AIIMS Nursing Officer Mukesh Singhal said that due to dengue, there is a lot of demand for platelets.

Her platelets have steadily dropped to nine thousand, due to which immediate platelets need to be transfused to stop the bleeding. Savita says that on Tuesday, after circling many places, she went to Ghaziabad and got platelets, for which she had to pay 11 thousand rupees. Also, two people had to donate blood.

Contact has been made in many hospitals
