The Delhi government has taken a big decision regarding the increasing number of corona patients. In view of this, the Kejriwal government has ordered the government schools to be converted into Covid-19 isolation centers and at present, it has been decided to make Sarvodaya Vidyalaya, Sector 7, RK Puram an isolation center. The head of the school or the principal of the school in which the Covid-19 isolation center is to be built, has been given the responsibility to make all the arrangements. The school principal will provide full manpower to the concerned executive magistrate to run the isolation center.
When the government schools are converted into isolation centers, then there will be a sufficient number of medical team round the clock available for the 24 hour isolation facility. In addition, regular checkup and medical examination will be done under the health protocol, along with this, orders have also been given to maintain complete records of people living in isolation facility, apart from this, a sufficient number of personal protective equipment kits, surgical gowns, masks, gloves, and sanitizer health protocols have been ordered to be made available.
The Delhi government has also ordered the MCD that a sufficient number of sanitation workers should be available for 24 hours to clean the premises and carry out sanitation work. Also, waste disposal should be arranged according to the health protocol and at the same time, arrangements should also be made to dispose the bio-medical waste. Not only this, the Delhi Police has been asked to provide 24-hour security system to make adequate security arrangements at the isolation center from the ADM, besides this no admitted person will be allowed to go out.
