Delhi: Corona Patients to be Admitted in World’s Largest Covid Care Center from Today

The World's Largest COVID Care Center is ready in Delhi. The process of isolating corona infected patients has started here since Sunday. This COVID Care Center has a capacity of 10,000 beds but at present, it has been started with the facility of 2000 beds. Lieutenant Governor of Delhi Anil Baijal, reached Radha Swami Satsang Vyas Center in Chhatarpur on Sunday morning and took stock of all the preparations. During this time, SS Deswal, Director General of ITBP, who was handling the responsibility of Covid Care Center, was also with him.

Apparently, in recent times, Corona cases have increased very rapidly in Delhi. In such a situation, the problem of beds for Corona infected patients was increasing day by day. The Delhi government hopes that after the launch of this Covid Care Center, patients will get better treatment facilities. Oxygen facility is also available in 10% beds at Sardar Patel Covid Care Center. The entire process from recruitment to discharge here is electronic and nurses will always be present here to check patients. At present, the responsibility of all 2000 beds has been assigned to ITBP.

ITBP, with its 170 doctors, specialists and more than 700 nurses and paramedics, is running them. Most of the basic things present here like beds, mattresses etc. have been donated by various social organizations and non-government organizations.

Recovery rate in Delhi crosses 70%

There is also relief news for Delhi people amid the increasing infection of coronavirus. The recovery rate of coronavirus patients has increased in the last few days in Delhi. Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia tweeted and informed about this. Manish Sisodia tweeted, 'Corona recovery rate in Delhi crossed 70% for the first time (70.22%). That means 70 percent of the total patients have been cured. Out of a total of 97,200 patients, 68,256 have been cured. The positivity rate (meaning how many people are getting positive in the total test) was 10.58% which reached 36.94%.'

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal also congratulated Corona Warriors on the recovery rate crossing 70 percent. CM Kejriwal wrote, 'The hard work of 2 crore people of Delhi is paying off. Congratulations to all Corona Warriors on Delhi's recovery rate being above 70%. We all have to work harder now to defeat Corona.'

Corona patients recovering fast

The recovery rate has also increased for the second week in a row amidst increasing cases of corona in Delhi. Currently, the recovery rate has reached to 70.22 percent. Also, the positive rate has also been steadily decreasing for the last few days. The pace of recovery of corona patients has also increased in the last one week. There have also been days when the number of people recovering in comparison to the new corona cases was more.
