Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has visited Leh today [Thursday] to take stock of the security situation of Ladakh, which is very important from a security point of view. In his first visit after the removal of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir and making it a Union Territory of Ladakh, the Defense Minister will learn about the current situation of the Border with Pakistan-China.

After the removal of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has come to Leh on 29 August. This is the Defense Minister's first visit to Leh after Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh were declared union territories. During this time, the Defense Minister will meet local and military officials and review the current situation.
