Wing Commander Abhinandan is a graduate of the National Defense Academy (NDA). Abhinandan from Tamil Nadu, India, had his original roots in the village of Thirupanamur. His parents live in Chennai. He was selected as a fighter pilot in the Indian Air Force in 2004. He has been promoted twice in his 15-year career.
Earlier he got the title of a skilled Sukhoi 30 fighter pilot. Later, seeing his fighting skills, he was promoted to the rank of Wing Commander. After this, he handed over the MiG 21. Abhinandan is the son of Air Marshal Simhakutty Varthaman, a well-known pilot. His wife has also been a Squadron Leader in the Indian Air Force.
On February 14, an attack took place on a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) convoy in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama. 40 soldiers were martyred in this. India has taken revenge from Pakistan for the terrorist attack on the 40 CRPF convoy in Pulwama. The Indian Air Force used Mirage 2000 fighter jets to drop 1000 kg of bombs on a Jaish-e-Muhammad camp in Ghulam Kashmir. Many hideouts of Jaish-e-Muhammad have been destroyed in this attack.
