Chinese Citizens Will Not be Able to Reside in 3000 Hotels-Guest Houses in Delhi

Tensions between India and China are increasing with every passing day. People in India are angry with China after violent clashes in Galvan valley and at the same time, a decision has been taken on not allowing Chinese citizens to stay in Delhi's hotels and guest houses. The Delhi Hotel and Guest House Owners Association (Dhurva) has taken a major decision on the call for Chinese goods boycott of the Confederation of All India Traders (CAT). The organization has announced that in view of China's antics, it has been decided that from now on, no Chinese citizens will stay in Delhi's hotels and guest houses.

There are about 3000 budget hotels and guest houses in Delhi, which have about 75 thousand rooms. Giving this information, General Secretary Mahendra Gupta of Delhi Hotel and Guest House Owners Association said that due to the manner in which China is dealing with India and the manner in which the Indian soldiers were martyred in violent clashes, due to this, all the hoteliers of Delhi are extremely angry. He said that at a time when CAT has campaigned for boycott of Chinese goods across the country, the hotel and guest house businessmen of Delhi will also participate in it and in view of that, we have decided that from now on in Delhi no Chinese person will stay in any budget hotel or guest house.

He said that in this connection, CAT will now contact national organizations of transport, farmers, hawkers, small scale industries, consumer, self -entrepreneurs, and women entrepreneurs will also connect them with this campaign.
