Mumbai: A rumour is flying these days, stating that Deepika Padukone is working as a producer in the film '83' and will see post production after Reliance Entertainment's Shibashish Sarkar is found to be Corona positive. Rejecting this rumour, a source associated with the '83' team said, "In the Corona era, we all should wish each other good health rather than weaving a concocted story. Deepika Padukone, as a producer of the film '83' like all producers are an integral part of the project. But when the film is comprised of highly capable directors like Kabir Khan, who are watching this post production with full dedication, where else would anyone need to do anything."
The film '83' will mark the journey of the Indian cricket team to win the most prestigious title in the cricket world. Kabir Khan Films Production's film '83' is presented by Reliance Entertainment and Phantom Films. The releases of Reliance Entertainment and PVR Pictures will be released in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
The '83' film will feature Deepika as Romi Dev, who is Kapil Dev's wife. Ranveer will be in the role of Kapil Dev. This Kabir Khan film will be released after lockdown. There was a rumour about the film that it would be released on OTT i.e. digital platform, but the makers rejected the rumour.
Recently, Deepika Padukone's film 'Ye Jawani Hai Deewani' has completed 7 years. In such a situation, the actress has shared pictures, refreshing old memories.
