Gold prices fell by Rs 130 to Rs 34140 per ten grams on Monday in the Delhi Sarafa Bazar due to weak global trend amid a fall in demand for jewelery makers and trade between the US and China. All India Sarafa Association gave this information.

Globally, gold in New York was trading at $ 1,387.09 an ounce Silver was also at $ 15.17 an ounce with losses. Harish V, Commodity Research Head of Geojit Financial Services said that gold fell on Monday to $ 1,388.09 an ounce in international market.

Silver also fell by Rs 260 to Rs 38,570 per kg on reduced offtake by industrial units and coin makers.

Gold 99.9 per cent and 99.5 percent purity fell by Rs 130-130 to Rs 34,140 per 10 grams and Rs 33,970 per ten gram respectively. Eight gram also lost Rs 50 to Rs 26,800 per unit.

On Saturday, gold lost Rs 15 to Rs 34,270 per 10 grams and silver by Rs 230 to Rs 38,830 per kg. Meanwhile, silver lost Rs 260 to Rs 38,570 per kg and weekly delivery of Rs 295 to Rs 37,157 per kilogram. Silver coins continued to be traded at Rs 80,000 for buying and Rs 81,000 for selling of 100 pieces.
