Let us tell you that before Kareena, Saif married Amrita Singh. They have two children, Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Ali Khan. Saif and Amrita separated in 2004.
Kareena Kapoor had told in an interview that her love story started during the film 'Tashan'. She said- When I met Saif, I was going through a bad career. I had a good start, also did many films, but the year came when I did not do had anything. I thought my career was over. I was asked to dress up again. I maintained my size for the film. Such a time comes in everyone's career but as an actor it is very bad. Saif handled me when I started falling. I had met him before but something changed during 'tashan'.
Our love story started with Tashan's set. I remember during the shoot in Ladakh and Jaisalmer, we went on bike rides and spend time with each-other. We used to talk many things together. He taught me to love myself.
Kareena further said that after dating for a long time, we decided to stay together. During the date, Saif said, "I am not 25 years old and I cannot come to drop you home every night. So he told my mother- I want to spend my whole life with Kareena. We want to be together. My mother had no problem with this and she said yes. Then after some time we decided to get married".
Kareena and Saif got married in 2012. Now they also have a son Taimur.
