In the meeting of the Central Guide Board of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) at the Magh Mela on Monday, the saints passed a resolution demanding the handing over of the Ram temple to Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Nyas. In this, the decision regarding the announcement of the date of construction of the temple in Ayodhya was deferred. The VHP central officials and saints in the guiding board decided that the date would be announced after the formation of the temple construction trust. Many more decisions were taken in this.

In the two-session meeting, the first session started at 10.30 am with lamp lighting in front of Lord Ram's picture. Presided over by Swami Vasudevananda Saraswati. VHP Union General Secretary Milind Parande proposed. Agenda was laid among the officials and members of the Board of Governors. Major saints kept the views. The second session lasted from three in the afternoon to five in the evening. It was chaired by Avichal Das Maharaj, president of All India Sant Samiti and head of Kevalya Peetha, Mahisana, Gujarat. Major resolutions were passed in this session. In the second session, Akhil Bharatiya Akhara Parishad President Mahant Narendra Giri also attended. Both the sessions were conducted by Jeeveshwar Mishra, the VHP's central vice president and the convenor of the Board of Guides.

After the meeting, Mukhtib VHP Union General Secretary Milind Parande and Mandal's key member Swami Akhileshwaranand Maharaj informed about the proposals passed. Said that the date of construction of the temple in Ayodhya will be done after the formation of the trust by the central government as per the decision of the Supreme Court on the advice of the saints. There will be a Ramotsav across the country to express pleasure over the Supreme Court's decision. Special events will be held in villages and neighborhoods where Shilapujan programs were held.
